Rice Straw Collection

Lượt xem: 30

Rice straw can be collected from both dry and wet fields using an appropriate rice straw baler. If the weather is dry, the rice straw can be dried on the field before collection. However, the straw should not be left on the field for more than 5 days after harvest to avoid quality degradation, particularly nitrogen loss. Conversely, wet rice straw should be collected immediately after harvest to prevent quality degradation caused by decomposition and increased greenhouse gas emissions.
